I was recently reviewing the Visa International Operating Regulations, and I noticed something that I hadn't seen before. I saw that they have some rules regarding aggregating transactions that everyone considering aggregating microtransactions to save on fees should be aware of.
To summarize, there are rules that include:
- There is a limit of $25 on aggregated transactions
- You must complete an aggregation session within 3 days
- Your terms of service must detail that you are aggregating, what the terms are, and how to obtain details of the aggregated transaction.
